The stillness of new snow– majesty that never fades.
I brushed it away from my car, preparing for tomorrow morning’s commute. Often this task is done in a hurry.
But tonight it was a pleasure, a chance to stretch my arms and pay attention to detail, to clear a path in advance.
No bite in the air, only a wonderful quiet. Underneath, I scooped the packed snow away.
The repetition comforting, I did not rush.
